At the heart of Wandsworth town Centre, Metro Shopping Fund's Southside Shopping Centre provides 530,000sq ft of retail and leisure space with an annual footfall of 8.5million.
Following the successful reconfiguration of the North Mall to accommodate new stores including a 30,000 sq ft TK Maxx and a 12,000 sq ft New Look, further brands such as Topshop, Costa, Paperchase and Accessorize have opened, and Office will begin trading in Central Mall in early 2012.
A planning application to develop a 33,000 sq ft retail and restaurant extension overlooking Garratt Lane was granted planning consent by Wandsworth Council in 2011. Work will start in early 2012 that will add additional retail frontage to Garratt Lane as well as three new restaurants. Cattle Grid and Wagamama have already signed for the new restaurant space as part of this redevelopment and Southside will be announcing more names soon.

Further plans are underway to extend the redevelopment further along Garratt Lane, dramatically enhancing the appearance of the exterior of the centre, providing new shops and further rejuvenating the transforming town centre.

There are still opportunities to be part of Southside’s transformation and to sit alongside these and other brands including Topshop, Primark, Oliver Bonas, Office, Republic, H&M, Gap and Next, and leisure and food giants such as Cineworld and Waitrose.
