Back in 2001, three kiwi guys set up the first Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Battersea, South London. Their philosophy was simple – to create a fresh, quality burger reminiscent of the gourmet burgers they were used to back in New Zealand. Working with Chef Peter Gordon, they were the first to introduce gourmet burgers to the London market, creating a menu that combined 100% beef with the freshest ingredients and sauces.
These days we serve up gourmet burgers from London to Cardiff, Edinburgh to Brighton. You’ll find us on your local high street, in Europe’s largest shopping centre and even on the Queens doorstep. We still pride ourselves on serving up the freshest burgers; combining 100% beef sourced from West Country farms with the freshest ingredients and sauces made from scratch every day in each GBK kitchen.
